Every project is completed by trained professionals employed or contracted by Arlington Paint Pros. Project scope, materials, schedule, and pricing are outlined in the written estimate or service agreement provided before work begins.
2. Estimates and Pricing
- Free Estimates: We provide no-cost, no-obligation estimates for most residential and commercial painting jobs in the Arlington area.
- Accuracy: Estimates reflect the information available during inspection and assume normal working conditions. Pricing may change if unforeseen issues appear, such as hidden water damage, lead paint, or extensive surface repairs.
- Written Estimates: All estimates are issued in writing and remain valid for 30 days from the date they are provided unless otherwise noted.
- Price Changes: Once a proposal is accepted, the price stays fixed unless the customer requests additional work or unexpected conditions significantly change the project scope. Any adjustment will be explained and approved in writing before extra work starts.
3. Scheduling and Access
- Scheduling: Start dates and project timelines are estimates and may shift because of weather, material delays, or other factors outside our control. We will notify you of delays as soon as possible.
- Customer Responsibility: You agree to provide reasonable access to the work area on the scheduled dates. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, this includes moving furniture, fragile items, and personal belongings out of the work zone.
- Weather Delays: Exterior work depends on suitable weather. We may postpone outdoor painting for rain, extreme heat, high winds, or similar conditions. Rescheduled work will be completed at the earliest available opportunity.
4. Payment Terms
- Deposit: A deposit may be required before work begins. The amount will be listed in the written estimate or service agreement.
- Final Payment: The remaining balance is due when the project is substantially complete, unless another payment arrangement is documented in writing.
- Accepted Payment Methods: We accept cash, checks, credit cards, and electronic bank transfers.
- Late Payments: Balances not paid within 15 days of the due date may accrue a late fee of 1.5% per month or the highest amount allowed under Texas law, whichever is lower.
- Disputed Charges: If you think an invoice contains an error, contact us within 10 business days of receiving it. We will review the issue and aim to resolve it quickly.
5. Customer Responsibilities
By using our services, you agree to:
- Share accurate details about the property and the work requested.
- Keep the work area accessible and reasonably free of hazards on scheduled work days.
- Remove or secure pets away from work areas for safety.
- Tell us about any known property concerns, including lead paint, asbestos, mold, or structural issues.
- Secure any required homeowner association (HOA) approvals or permits unless we agree otherwise in writing.
- Avoid scheduling other contractors to perform conflicting work in the same area during the project without prior coordination.
6. Materials and Color Selections
- Paint and Materials: Unless otherwise stated, we use professional-grade paints and materials of high quality. Brand and product details are included in your service agreement.
- Color Accuracy: Colors can look different on a screen or in print than they do on your walls because of lighting, display settings, and surface texture. We recommend reviewing physical samples in the actual room before making a final choice.
- Customer-Supplied Materials: If you ask us to use paint or materials you provide, we cannot guarantee the durability, quality, or appearance of the finished result. Extra labor charges may apply if those materials are difficult to use.
7. Warranty and Guarantee
Arlington Paint Pros stands behind the quality of our workmanship.
- Workmanship Warranty: We provide a 2-year limited warranty for interior painting and a 3-year limited warranty for exterior painting. This covers peeling, blistering, or flaking caused by improper application. It does not cover normal wear and tear, moisture intrusion, structural movement, substrate failure, or customer negligence.
- Paint Manufacturer Warranty: Paint manufacturers may provide separate product warranties. We can help you understand any manufacturer coverage that applies.
- Warranty Claims: To submit a warranty claim, send us a written notice with photos and a description of the problem. We will inspect the area and decide on the appropriate remedy, which may include repair or repainting at our discretion.
- Exclusions: The warranty does not apply if the customer has modified the painted surfaces, if damage is caused by events outside our control, such as flooding, fire, or storms, or if payment obligations have not been met.
8. Cancellation and Rescheduling
- Customer Cancellation: You may cancel a scheduled project without penalty by giving at least 72 hours' notice before the planned start date. Cancellations with less notice may result in loss of the deposit.
- Rescheduling: We will do our best to accommodate rescheduling requests. Contact us as soon as you can, and we will work toward a new date that works for both sides.
- Company Cancellation: We may cancel or delay a project because of unsafe conditions, weather, material shortages, or other circumstances outside our control. If the job cannot be rescheduled, your deposit will be refunded in full.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by Texas law:
- Arlington Paint Pros is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from use of our Website or services.
- Our total liability for any claim connected to our services will not exceed the amount the customer paid for the specific project involved.
- We are not responsible for pre-existing conditions, hidden defects, or damage caused by factors outside our reasonable control.
- We maintain general liability insurance. Proof of insurance can be provided upon request.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Arlington Paint Pros, its owners, employees, and contractors from claims, damages, losses, or expenses, including reasonable attorney's fees, arising from:

- Your negligence or intentional misconduct
